Well, let's just say that this watch is a little expensive. It's the Tourbillon Minute Repeating watch from Corum. I love the clear face where you can see all the gear and hardware of the watch. These watches are handcrafted and only 25 of these were made. The Tourbillon was invented in 1795 to neutralize the effects of gravity on the accuracy of a watch. The list price on this beauty is $465,000, but Ashford has it on sale here for only $216,457.50.

Well, I found these earrings at Zales.com. They have 4 1/3 carats of diamonds ! Each earring has a 2 carat diamond in the center surrounded by many smaller diamonds set in a white gold frame. Zales has them listed here for $39,000 or $1268/month on your Zales card.

Well, did some more surfing for jewelry today and found this little gem. It's a titanium ring with a braided gold inlay. It's 10mm wide and a standard fit. It can also be made with a platinum inlay. I like it. It's made by Aris Titanium rings and for $395 it can be yours......

Talk about having some talent.... Take a look at these rings by jewelry artist Todd Alan. He makes rings from gold and silver wire.

His website shows many styles of rings. They are all impressive. I am particularly fond of the two tone (gold and silver) rings.

Mokume Gane rings

I love mokume gane rings. 'Mokume gane' means wood grain metal. Various layers of metal are fused together using high pressure and heat. The resulting metal is then carved and twisted to create some very interesting designs.

Once the metal is patterned, it can be made into rings, bracelets, earrings.....etc.

One of my favorite artiste is Steve Midgett (http://www.mokume.com) . Some of his rings are beautiful.
